ANNUAL RENEWAL OF CSD SMART CARDS

IHQ of MoD (Army) QMG Br vide their letter No. 95350/Q/DDGCS/Canteen Smart Cards dated 21^st Sep 2022 has discontinued the annual renewal of Canteen Smart Cards wef 01 Jan 2023.

OROP UPDATE

Government application for  extension was heard today i.e 16/09/2022. Govt counsel confirmed that all details have been worked out except Cabinet approval which will come soon. Hon’ble Judge rejected the plea of IESM’s lawyer, who had asked for 8% interest on arrears. Judge granted time till 16/12/2022 for payment of arrears.

MOST IMPORTANT POINTS TO ALL PENSIONERS All pensioners must ensure the followings when alive:- (a)   Pension account should be a joint account. (b)   The wife’s Name and Date of Birth must match with PPO, Bank Pension Account,  her Aadhar card and PAN card. If these are different, then get them corrected from appropriate authority. (c)   Keep original & corrigendum PPOs (if issued) at a safe place (known to wife).
