COVID-19 : POLICY FOR ESM & DEPENDENTS
Revised Policy w.r.t COVID-19 has been
issued by office of DGAFMS vide their letter No. 402/6/nCov/DGA/DGAFMS/DG-3A dated
19th Jun 2020. Extract
specific to ESM is given below:-
(a) All mild,
moderate and severe cases of Covid-19 (Entitled ESM & dependents) will be
admitted to an empanelled hospital or a
Service hospital.
(b) All Asymptomatic/Pre-Symptomatic/Very
mild cases will be in home isolation after taking due undertaking from them and
ensuring that they fulfill all criteria as per MoHFW guidelines dated 10th
May 2020.
(c) Details of
all very mild/pre-symptomatic/asymptomatic cases will be shared with the local
IDSP/local health dept for follow up.

Covid Three
stages:
1. Covid only in nose - recovery time is half
a day. (Steam inhaling),
vitamin C. Usually no fever. Asymptomatic.
2. Covid in throat - sore throat, recovery time 1
day (hot water gargle,
warm water to drink, if temp then
paracetamol. Vitamin C, Bcomplex.
If
severe than antibiotic.
3. Covid in lungs- coughing and breathlessness 4
to 5 days. (Vitamin C,
B complex, hot water gargle, oximeter,
paracetamol, cylinder if severe,
lot of liquid required, deep breathing
exercise.
Stage when to
approach hospital:
Monitor the
oxygen level. If it goes near 43 (normal 98-100) then you
need
oxygen cylinder. If available in Society then no hospital else admit.

ELECTION GOVERNING BODY : RDOA
The
term of present Governing Body has expired and there is a need to elect a new
body. Elections are generally conducted along with the General Body Meeting
but due to COVID-19, it is not possible to organize the GBM. Therefore, it is
