Yes PPOs have been revised but banks have yet to calculate and pay the dues. This should be taken up.
Many offrs have received incorrect arrears especially those whose records got burnt in fire. PCDA(O) is not taking any action/responding to the objections raised by the offrs. I have personally checked due/drawn statement of many of many offrs. Offrs retiring as Maj Gens and Brig are being shown retired in lower ranks and visa versa, incorrect retirement date and many more mistakes. Many offrs have still not received PPOs. I had sent an RTI,reply not satisfactory, sent an appeal, awaiting reply.

I also did not receive the arrears so forwarded a RTI request and within 10 days the arrears were credited to my account.
i also did not receive the arrears so i forwarded an RTI and with in 10 days i received my arrears though the bank has not added the 6% interest.
Is it not a breach of Parliamentary protocol to provide partial information or withhold pertinent facts? There is no mention in the reply of the fact that there is a contempt petition in the Hon'ble Supreme Court regarding the matter.
How do you send an RTI on knowingif you have received the correct arrears?
CDAO does not bother to even reply observation raised with regards to incorrect re fixation of basic pay as on 1-1-1996.
I would like to know how I can file an RTI for arrears. It appears that I have been paid less/
When I got the Due Drawn statement from CDA(O), I found that they were showing me retd as Lt Col whereas I had been promoted a Col in 1988 and retired in 1996.No action had been taken on the reemployed period. All my letters failed to elicit any response. Then I visited the CDA myself (from Jalandhar, Punjab) and gave them fresh calculation of Due Drawn statement. Again no action was taken. Then I pressed them through a local friend. To my horror, they corrected my rank but showed me in arrears (excess payment) of nearly 20,000/- rupees. I again sent corrected table but they refused to entertain any correspondence. It is disgusting. The CDA(O) and the Indian Govt owes an explanation to us but they are all shameless.

Could someone advice how an RTI can be made to check if the correct amount has been released.
