8TH  Central Pay Commission 

Union  Cabinet chaired by PM Mr Narender Modi on 28^th Oct 2025 approved the terms of reference of 8^th CPC to make recommendations within 18 months. Commission will be headed by former SC Judge Ranjana Prakash Desai, IIM-Bangaluru professor Pulak Ghosh as member and petroleum secretary Pankaj Jain as member-secretary.

                     REVISION  OF DA/DR

Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved 3% hike in DA to Central Govt. Employees and DR to pensioners.  The hike comes ahead of festivals. Existing 55% w.e.f 01.07.2025. Pension for October will be with 58% DR.
