"MINIMUM GUARANTEED PENSION"

Min of Defence (Pension/Policy) has issued  order 1(04)/2015(I)-D (Pen/Pol)  dated 3rd Sep 2015 for payment of arrears from 01.01.2006 to 23.9.2012. All affected officers were very eagerly awaiting this. Hope Pre 2006 retirees are happy now. Cheers!!!

UPDATE CONTEMPT PETITION (RANK PAY ANOMALY CASE)

Contempt petition  came up  for hearing  in Court No. 3 of Hon'ble Mr Justice Anil R Dave, Hon'ble Mr Justice Kurian Joseph  & Hon'ble Mr Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel  at item  No.  4 at 1045 hrs today i.e. 18th Aug 2015. Court did not accept our plea for change of Pay Scales of 4th CPC & 5th CPC, The case has been finally disposed off.

SOME SUGGESTIONS/IDEAS BY ESMs
 
It is sad that some ESM organizations &  individuals are talking of CHAKKA JAM/RAIL ROKO/GHERAOS/ FAST TO DEATH/BURNING OF EFFIGIES for OROP. Some individuals are even  initiating/circulating counter productive emails on mutiny (as received or with their comments). As Citizen of this country that too as veterans we must refrain from such  activities. By doing so we may loose the public sympathy. We must conduct ourselves in a diciplined mannerand remember our ethos imbibed in us.

UOI's  application for modification of the order of Supreme Court dated 10th Dec 2014 came up on hearing on 06th July 2015. Court passed the following order.

    "We have heard counsels for the petitioners. We are not inclined to entertain application for impleadment as also for modification of order dated 10th Dec 2014. The applications are accordingly dismissed"

Supreme Court is closed for summer vacation. RDOA has decided to file a contempt Petition in 1st week of July 2015, incase benefit is not extended to all eligible pers. Our advise to all eligible pers "Not to file cases in AFT". Write to AHQ & PCDA(P) giving reference of SC's judgement, Civil Appeal 418 of 2012, UOI Versus Ram Avtar to  extend the benefit of broad bending. Incase reply is in negative, please send the copy of reply to us for including the same in the contempt petition.

The  Supreme Court is closing for summer vacation on 15 May 2015.The Contempt Petition will come up for hearing on 14 July 15.Veterans are requested to have patience regarding OROP. Govt has given a commitment. WE are sure they will implement it. It is a matter of time.

Minimum Guaranted Pension case came up for hearing in the court of Hon'ble Mr Justice  TS Thakur and Hon'ble Mrs Justice R Bhanumathi today. Court heard the ASG, representing  UOI for over an hour and half. Court dismissed all appeals filed by UOI and told ASG to implement the order within four months.

PROGRESS CONTEMPT PETITION

Contempt petition had come up for hearing today in the court of Hon'ble Justice Anil Dave.  Our advocate told the court that UOI has not implemented the Supreme court's order of 4th Sep 2012 in letter and spirit till date.  Additional Solicitor requested for 3/4 weeks to file the status Report. Court heard both the councels and asked ASG to file the status report in  three weeks. Next date of hearing is 13th Feb 2015.
