Those who take the covid vaccine, please take acknowledgment/vaccine certificate  and keep it with you.  The same may be required in future for:-

Procedure For Registration (Vaccination)

 Step-by-Step procedure to register and get appointment in a hospital of your choice for COVID vaccination.

 1.  Type cowin.gov.in in Google.

 2.  Click on “Search”.

 It will open a window where they ask you for your residence. 

DON’T click on that.

In the same window the next option is “Register Yourself”. 

3.  Click on “Register Yourself”. 

4.   It will open a window:-

“Register or Login for Vaccination”.

Below that in the given space type your mobile number and click on 

“GET OTP”.

Wait for OTP. It takes a little time. 

5.  Type OTP in the new window and click on “Verify”.

 

If your mobile number and OTP match, a new window will open asking for your details:

Whether you would like Id as:

(a)  PAN Card.

(b)  Driving License.

(c)  AADHAR Card.

(d)  Passport.

 

6.   Better select AADHAAR Card.

 It will ask for AADHAAR Card number.

Fill up the number and other details like name, year of birth as per AADHAAR Card etc.

It will register you and in the new window list out the registration details.

7.    In the new window click on  “Action”.

It will ask for the place and other details.

8.   Fill up and submit.

It will give hospitals names.

9.    Click the hospital you desire.

It will open new window asking you to select the time and day.

Select time (forenoon or afternoon) and submit.

You will get the registration and time and date at the selected facility.
