Join Hamara Parivar Poorva Sainik Prakoshth
Introduction
It is a
voluntary organization of armed forces veterans motivated to contribute to the
society and the nation by their selfless work. There is no contribution for
joining the organization. Prakoshth is not
linked with any other organization.
Activities
The Prakoshth
meets every month. Two of the monthly
meetings are held on line and once in a quarter physical meeting is held at a
central place in New Delhi. Some of the
activities taken are as under:
(a) Seminar on indigenization of India’s
defense industry
(b) Lectures in schools and colleges on subjects of national importance such as
military leadership, agniveer, Indian
epics (Ramayana and Bhagwat Geeta),
entrepreneurship seminar in Army Institute
of Management and Technology,
(c) Financial support to deserving college girls from the weaker sections of the society.
Commemorative events to remember the martyred soldiers of the armed forces also
for the ‘missing 54’ (Our PoWs who were not re patriated after the 1971 war)
