I am confident that the public of our country will be in favour of granting OROP to all members of the Armed Forces .But I have a question to ask as to why the Government did not feel the need to ask for public opinion before increasing the salary and allowances of members of Parliament .

The country which has seen a number of Wars and natural calamities as well as the involvement of the INDIAN TROOPS with alacrity and sense of duty. The results are self explanatory.
This section of society which has unflinchinly given their kith and kin as well as their best years serving the nation deserve the parity of OROP. The cause of OROP is a very just and a legitimate demand which must be accepted immediately.

This is Ex/Nk A J Kazi.I pray almighty to give good understanding to all the Indians about the critical situation of defense personnels, who are the most neglected in this country. Can anyone explain how the family will survive with less than 5000 rupees pension per month? This is high time to consider the need of OROP by the govt of india and people of India.

We will be grateful to you if you kindly keep us updated on the OROP issue. Mr. Harish Salve, the renowned Supreme Court lawyer had once upon a time promised all of us in a talk show with Arnab Goswami (News Hour) that he will strongly argue the case in our favour whenever he gets an opportunity. He also deserves our gratitude for ably fighting the case on IV Pay commision Arrears. I think we should seek his help in this regard also. If we get to know the latest status, we will be able to share our thoughts with you.
