IV CPC Rank Pay Anomaly case Update

The case has been scheduled to be heard on 22 Nov 2011 in the Hon'ble Supreme Court as per the advance listing. As a sequel to the last hearing in which it was stated that all pleadings be completed by 14 Nov 11, RDOA has filed a counter affidivit exposing the blatant lies of the UOI filed in its affidavit. Some of these expose have appeared on Maj Navdeep's site.Needless to say the UOI is misleading the court by comparing higher military scales with lowewr civil scales as is evident from the expose given by Maj Navdeep.

Each ‘Rank’ in the armed forces is a promotion by itself in the pyramidcal hierarchy. In no way two or more ranks can be clubbed in the same scale as has been shown in the illustrations. An attempt has been made by the UOI to mislead the Hon.ble Court. It is not only contemptuous but also malicious to down grade the status and pay and allowances of the commissioned officers of the armed forces and should be admonished vehemently.

We do hope that the Hon'ble Court would be able to see through the game plan of the UOI.

A most welcome update. One applauds the great service rendered by RDOA in the cause of justice for all affected Officers, serving and retired, even more so for standing up for the principle clearly discernible in the matter.

Yesterday only I read the comments of Maj Navdeep on the Rank Pay case affidavit filed by UOI and I was 100% sure that our worthy advocates engaged by RDOA would have filed appropriate counter affidavit/reply.
I read few comments of some officers on Maj Navdeep's site giving on the spot advice to RDOA.
I salute RDOA and wish them to come out with flying colors in this case setting an example for the babus that they can't fool the Honorable Courts every time.
I pray to Almighty to guide the honorable judges to make the erring officials pay through their nose and set a deterrent for others.

Hope that the RDOA has taken the observations of Major Navdeep into account and are going to bring out the lies in the MOD affidavit to the SC Judges. Those who have submitted the affidavits need to be prosecuted.

@Col Satwant

Sir,

1. Ref Maj Navdeep's latest Post on Rank Pay Case and UoI's False Affidavit on the issue submitted to the hon'ble SC.

2. I would like to request RDOA's learned lawyers to clearly bring out the 'steepness of the pyramid' by mentioning the percentage of cadre strength of Armed Forces and AIS offrs making it to each Grade. This, along with No of years of Service required to reach each particular Grade, would make everything very plain to the hon'ble SC and nail UoI's egregious lies!
