Though the case was listed for 18 Jan 2012 in Court no 9, in the Hon'ble Supreme Court, it did not get chance to come up for hearing. Reason: The case which was partially heard yesterday was contd today and took up the whole day for arguments. At the end of the day all cases which were scheduled for 18 Jan 2012 were given fresh date of 21 mar 2012.
Not to be disheartened. Another date!The interest clock is ticking!

So sad! Hope most of us live to enjoy the arrears and the piling up interest. By the ay, was the SG present?
On the 21st, the SG may be "engaged" with the DOB case. Who knows?
HOPE is the SPICE of Life. Let us not get disheartened. And d not be surprised if the "Final Disposal" is posrponed for another fresh date on 21 March with the SG unable to be present. The earlier verdict from SC is adequate for the veterans to keep hoping!!
Sir, It appears that now SC is also following Govt towline. Innovative way to give fresh date.

Hopes newer die. who knows we are in for re fixation of pay from 1.1.1986,1.1.1996 and 1.1.2006 and arrears from 1.1.1986 with much higher rate of interest?
So Have patience and hope for the best.

Thank goodness the DOB issue is now in the backburner or is it out of the way.
Any new dates. How many more will passon before they can enjoy the fruits of their labour
