PCDA (O) vide Message No. 08/2021 has informed that there are 5299 veterans to whom arrears of Rank Pay have not been released in compliance of Hon’ble Supreme Court’s judgment dated 04/09/2012.

EXTENSION OF DATE : SUBMISSION OF LIFE CERTIFICATE

Deptt of Pension & Pensioner’s Welfare, Min of Personnel Public Grievances  and Pensions, Govt of India  vide OM No. 18/1/2020–P & PW(H)-III-6786 dated 01/12/2021   has extended the  existing timeline for submission of life certificate for all age groups of pensioners to 31.12.2021. Pensioners will keep getting the pension during this period. All pensioners who have not submitted the life certificate till date are advised to do it now.

REIMBURSEMENT MEDICINE BILL

Central Organisation ECHS had taken up a case for extension of purchase of medicines from the market and claim reimbursement beyond 31^st Oct 2021 but the same has not been agreed to by the MoD.

Central Organisation ECHS vide letter No. B/49762/AG/ECHS dated 18 Nov 2021 has issued orders that ECHS Polyclinics will continue to function during stock taking day with reduced staff. No emergency cases will be denied treatment on the stock taking.

MEDICAL CARE : ESM

Integrated HQ of MoD (Army), DGMSF (Army) vide their letter No. B/76782/ECHS/ Gen Corres/DGMS-5B dated 27^th Oct 2021  has issued an advisory regarding medical care of ESM in Military Hospitals in emergency and life threatening conditions. It says:-

(a)   No ESM will be denied admission.

(b)   Decision to refer the patient to empanelled Hosp will only be taken with due       clearance from Commandant/CO/HoD.

(c)   All assistance for transfer of patient to empanelled Hosp will be provided.
