Dear RDAO,
Do you have retired air force officers also as your regular members or they have to go to some other associated body who are part of this contempt notice and subsequent fight? If so then pl put up their details on this blog for our info.

@chowpc. RDOA is a tri service org.We have retired offrs as members from Army/Navy/Air force from the rank of Lt Gen to Capt.
No detail of any offr will be put on the blog.

@chowpc:"...for our info..."

"our"??

Who is being referred to in the plural here? Or was that a case of the royal pronoun being used?

There is a concept called 'right to privacy'. Are RDOA being asked to abuse that right just to satisfy the idle curiosity of people who should know better?

@corona8, absolutely correct. Why should RDOA (and not RDAO as chowpc has it)disclose the names of its members to even the other members?

RDOA is transparent enough to convene a AGM and also put out its statement of accounts for perusal of members. That is good enough for me.

@RDOA - bash on regardless! Satyam ev Jayate, if if delayed till July 2013.

Flt Lt(Retd) M Maheswaran RDOA Membership No.1725.
Dear Sir, I was commissioned on 19 Jul 86 as Fg Offr, promoted to acting Flt Lt on Aug 90 and sub Flt Lt on Jul 92. Left service on premature retirement on 31 Oct 94. Am I covered in the rank pay issue?

@Maheswaran Mallaya: If justice prevails and the IV CPC payscale gets amended and the calculation at the time of V CPC is revised, in short, if the DGL of TRIPAS is implemented, then you'd certainly be affected.

Kindly refer news Item of tribune dated 6-may 2013
"Pensioners rejoice.HC saysthose retired before 2006 will get pension according to VI CPC( Wef 1-1-2006 and not wef 24 sept 2012)"

justices Praddep Nandrajog & Kameshwar Rao gave strict directionsto Govt to give the arrears to the pensioners within two month. The court said if govt fails to do so,the govt will have to pay the pending amount to the retired pensioner at whholing interest wef 1-3-2013.

Kindly up date on the above Issue .

Murari, That case is entirely different and filed by Civilians BPS Bharat Pensioners Samaj. Rejoicing may be too early. Nothing is final till a govt letter is issued. Don't worry it will be applicable for Defense personnel too.
But Govt has option of approaching Hon SC to quash the judgement. If unsuccessful, file a review petition saying Govt is bankrupt and delay further.Do not expect any fast action. Again one thing in our favour, retired Judges are also benefitted. So i do not foresee prolonged battle like Rank Pay case. Expect Govt letter in Aug/Sep.
